On July 29, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Guo Wei met with Mr.Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, Minister of Investment of Jordan, and Dr. Nidal Katamine, Jordanian Minister of Transport and Minister of Labour.

Ambassador Guo noted that Jordan offers a stable investment environment, with a continuously improving legal and regulatory framework and steadily enhanced investment facilitation measures. He highlighted that Jordan recorded a 25% increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) last year, further strengthening its role as a regional gateway for capital flows. He added that China and Jordan enjoy broad prospects for expanding two-way investment cooperation.

Minister Abu Ghazaleh stated that Jordan has effectively responded to regional instability while maintaining steady economic performance. He noted that the country continues to improve its investment environment, enhancing its resilience and attractiveness, and welcomed more foreign investors to invest in Jordan.
