On 28 July, Ambassador Guo Wei met with Prof. Dr. Husam Abu Hamour, Chairman of the Board of the Digital Business Entrepreneurship Association of Jordan.

Ambassador Guo noted that the digital economy is sweeping across the globe, profoundly transforming economic growth models and development pathways, significantly enhancing total factor productivity, and driving the upgrading and transformation of national economies. He said Jordan has been actively developing its digital economy and fostering new forms of digital business, adding that China and Jordan enjoy broad prospects for cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Prof. Dr. Hamour said that the Jordan Digital Business and Entrepreneurship Association attaches great importance to cooperation with China. He expressed the Association's hope to learn from China's experience in incubating, nurturing, and listing innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and to promote exchanges among entrepreneurial talents between the two countries.
