On July 18, Ambassador Guo Wei attended The 9^th Conference of Jordanian Businessmen, which be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Jaafar Hassan under the theme for Investment Opportunities with a Global Vision. Jordanian Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh also attended the event.

Ambassador Guo noted that the global economy is embracing new opportunities for development. The new wave of scientific and technological revolution, represented by artificial intelligence, is advancing rapidly and profoundly reshaping the patterns of economic growth as well as the direction and pace of international capital flows. As an important economy in the Middle East, Jordan enjoys a stable investment environment, offering broad prospects for China–Jordan investment cooperation.

Minister Abu Ghazaleh stated that Jordan attaches great importance to attracting investment from around the world to empower the development of both its traditional and emerging industries, while further advancing its strategy of diversifying sources of investment.
