On June 23, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan H.E. Guo Wei visited Mr. Azzam Samdi, President of Jordanian Trade Union Federation.

Ambassador Guo stated that Jordan has been progressing steadily in its modernization drive, which has brought about the significant achievements in recent years. He praises the wisdom, diligence and proactive spirit of workers and industrial employees across all sectors, noting that their contributions have been instrumental in national development. The Ambassador also acknowledges the important role played by trade unions in rallying the workforce and fostering growth. There is broad scope for enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Jordanian trade unions.

Mr. Samdi said that the Federation attaches great importance to deepening trade union exchanges between Jordan and China, and looks forward to strengthening personnel visits and mutual learning to promote the development of Jordanian Chinese friendship.
