On May 31, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan H.E. Guo Wei accompanied Prime Minister Jafar Hassan of Jordan on an inspection tour of a China-Jordan industrial manufacturing cooperation project.

Ambassador Guo noted that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the China-Jordan strategic cooperation has developed in an all-round way and yielded fruitful outcomes, bringing tangible benefits to the two countries and their peoples. Under the auspices of the attention and support of Prime Minister Hassan, China-Jordan cooperation projects have maintained sound momentum, and bilateral economic and trade cooperation, industrial cooperation, and cooperation within the framework of Belt and Road Initiative have continued to advance with broad prospects.

Prime Minister Hassan said that Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision has entered a crucial stage in the implementation, with comprehensive measures being taken to strengthen industries, boost employment and expand investment. Jordan-China practical cooperation is facing new opportunities and entering a new stage of development with a promising future.
