On January 26, H.E. Ambassador Guo Wei met with H.E. Abdul Hakim Shibli, Minister of Finance of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Ambassador Guo spoke highly of the steady progress achieved in the China–Jordan strategic partnership. He emphasized that financial cooperation is an important pillar of bilateral cooperation across multiple fields, providing strong support for the modernization efforts of both countries. Such cooperation, he noted, has played a positive role in improving people’s well-being and offers broad prospects for further deepening practical cooperation between China and Jordan.

Minister Shibli stated that China is one of the world’s most important economies, whose development experience in finance and investment is highly instructive. He expressed Jordan’s willingness to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the financial sectors of the two countries, with a view to achieving mutual benefit and common development.
