Since the Chinese government began shipping 60,000 emergency humanitarian food parcels to Gaza through Jordan in February, approximately 55,000 have been delivered to Gaza for distribution via the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). Each parcel weighs 50 kilograms and contains rice, sugar, cooking oil, canned goods, and other essential items, sufficient to meet the basic needs of a family of five for one month.

The situation in Gaza remains volatile, and access policies for supplies are subject to constant changes, creating significant uncertainty. Faced with complex challenges, China has closely followed the regional situation and collaborated with Jordanian authorities and international humanitarian organizations to overcome numerous difficulties. To date, approximately 90% of the supplies have been successfully delivered to the war-torn Gaza. The Chinese government will continue to monitor the humanitarian situation in Gaza, ensuring that the delivery of food parcels be completed as soon as possible and that the emergency humanitarian aid has a positive impact.
