On August 20, the Chinese Embassy in Jordan held a farewell reception for Jordanian students who are accepted by 2025 MOFCOM Degree Education Programs and are about to depart for China. Chargé d'Affaires Mr. Gong Anmin attended the event and delivered a speech. Officials from the Jordanian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and alumini from Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, and Ministry of Finance were also present.

Mr. Gong extended warm congratulations to the students and expressed high hopes for their journey ahead. He encouraged them to get oriented proactively, to study and research diligently, to remain open-minded, to promote understanding and exchanges and to contribute to Jordan’s modernization and practical cooperation between China and Jordan upon their return.

Representatives of both current and past scholarship program students shared their experiences and insights, expressing gratitude for the valuable opportunity provided by the Chinese government. Prior to the reception, the embassy conducted a pre-departure orientation for the new students to help them quickly adapt to their new environment.
