On October 10, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Chen Chuandong, met with H.E. Yarub Falah Al Qudah, Jordan’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply. The two sides exchanged views on deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Jordan.

Ambassador Chen commended the sound development of bilateral relations and the fruitful outcomes of economic and trade cooperation. He underscored the strong economic complementarity between the two countries and the broad prospects for further cooperation. China is ready to work with Jordan to explore new opportunities, unlock new areas, enhance production capacity cooperation, and contribute to Jordan’s modernization efforts. China is keen to increase imports of high-quality products from Jordan.

Minister Qudah emphasized that China is a major trading partner for Jordan and expressed his hope to see more Chinese companies establish their presence in Jordan. Jordan is willing to strengthen cooperation with China, enhance communication and coordination mechanisms in the economic and trade sectors, and create broader opportunities for collaboration.
