In order to further facilitate cross-border travels, China Visa and Entry polices are updated effective as of 15 March 2023:

1. Resuming function of entry of valid visas issued before 28 March 2020.

2. Resuming issuance of all types of Chinese visas (including for tourism and medical treatment). For details, please refer to the attached link.

3.Port visa authorities resume issuance of visas at ports of entry in line with applicable laws and for emergencies.

4. Resuming visa-free policy arrangements specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy appointment specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR.
