China is ready to work with Jordan, taking advantage of new horizons of their respective second centenary journeys and the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, to strengthen synergy of development strategies by exploring more new areas of economic, trade and investment cooperation so that the two peoples can reap more benefits from their win-win cooperation.

Minister Saqqaf applauded the achievements of bilateral investment between Jordan and China and briefed Ambassador Chen on the preferential and facilitating policies under the new Investment Environment Law. She said that Jordan is committed to creating a good investment environment, protecting the interests of investors, so as to attract investment from Chinese and other businesses in an effort to promote economic development and create more job opportunities. She added that the Ministry of Investment is willing to strengthen communication with Chinese embassy and Chinese businesses to further economic, trade and investment cooperation between Jordan and China.
