On November 16, H.E. Chen Chuandong, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan attended the opening ceremony of MENA ICT Forum 2022 held at King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre.

With the theme of “Fusing Technologies, Digitalizing & Bridging Borders, Reshaping the Generations of the Future”, the forum focuses on topical issues including cyber security, 5G, Internet of things and artificial intelligence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Jordanian Prime Minister H.E. Bisher Khasawneh attended the opening ceremony on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, while HRH Princess Sumya bint Hassan and ministers of tele communications of Jordan and  neighboring countries also participated.

After the opening, H.E. Prime Minister Khasawneh and HRH Princess Sumaya, accompanied by Ambassador Chen visited the Huawei booth and were briefed on its 5G technology and services.

Ambassador Chen later had an in-depth exchange with company staff to learn more about its operation.
