Jordanina President of the Senate led a delegation to China

        Jordanian-Chinese talks started in Beijing between Jordanian Senate delegation headed by Senate President Zeid Al Rifai and Chinese delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference headed by Jia Qinling President of the conference . Rifai expressed appreciation over the existing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of Higher Education, Science, Social Development, Health, Media, Tourism, and youth. The cooperation can be enhanced through executing concluded agreements in the past years such as trade agreement in 1978, Scientific and Cultural agreement in 1979, the agreement of establishment of joint economic cooperation in 1983. Rifai also highlighted the Chinese investments in Jordan which stood at $30 million. He said he hoped that China would increase its investments particularly that Jordan became a hub for investments after it reviewed its economic legislations and laws.
